Ok guess it was bound to happen and i finally made some progress with some more of the redesign of the site - this time it was the "my profile" page that got an overhaul and hopefully you will get used to it and find it as good as i hope..
You no longer need to go to another page to edit your profile, everything can be edited from the "my profile" page, including the password which i know people have been wanting for a looong time.
As you will notice the list of profiles that has visited your profile has been moved to a seperate page and now has the added bonus that donating members can view the last 50 profiles that has looked at their profile and free members are limited to the last 10. |

The redesign of the site is going well and so far there has been very few complaints regarding the changes made which is good!
There is still a long way to go so i expect the process to take a month or two but we will get there and in the end it will mean that a lot of the code running this site has been rewritten, hopefully to the better and it should overall lead to a more smooth running and bugfree version of the site.
I have removed all the old site updates as lets face it, stuff that happened in 2006 isnt really that interesting anymore - so only new stuff on the page from this date on.
So far the following pages has been changed:
- message system - both inbox,outbox, sent messages and read messages
- full profile view - the biggest change is that you can now send a message directly from the profile page
- online now / online today - these pages where just done, nothing major
- friends list - send message directly from there is gone as is the option to see who put you on their list.
- site news - honestly who cares ;)
well better get back to work as there is still a loong way to go. |

Ok, as you might have noticed the index page looks a all new and refreshed.. Well, a rewamping of the site is looong overdue and it has finally begun - there is plenty more to do so expect things to look different when you visit next time and if we all know me correct you can expect stuff to be broken, i will do my best to get it fixed ASAP and all the stuff previously reported should be fixed in this upcomming rewamping.
Yesterday i introduced the option to become a verified profile - simply put being a verified profile means that you have confirmed your gender on the site and its an effort to cut down on the scammers and guys posing as females - at present it is optional so the choise is yours but as more and more profiles become verified you will be loosing out on profile visits due to the option to search for verified profiles only.
I hope you enjoy the new stuff thats happening to the site and as always i love to hear your thoughts, especially if they are kind ;p
oh, and in case you are wondering how to become a featured profile [lower right hand corner] simply get your profile verified and your profile will be shown at random on the index page for people logged into the site - should be a nice way to get some more profile hits!
